This job requires performing maintenance on various components of mining equipment, including conveyor pulleys and rollers, apron feeders, pumps, valves, and piping. Other responsibilities include civil and structural repairs and conducting critical plant inspections. The goal is to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of mining equipment. SMC have extensive skills in basic hydraulic system servicing, as well as crusher and mill maintenance, including repairing and replacing components, fault finding, and performing inspections. Sound knowledge in servicing pitman arm jaw crushers, large and small gyratory crushers, bushing replacement, and wear component replacement. Skilled in performing machine health inspections, bearing and seal inspections, and general maintenance inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
